Virtual Reality
In 2018, I began working for The Game Research and Immersive Design (GRID) Lab where I did a lot of work developing walkable virtual reality experiences for Samsung Odyssey, oculus quest, etc. Most notably, I also developed a VR treatment for Mal de Debarquement Syndrome (MdDS): a rare balance disorder where individuals develop a persistent perception of phantom movement after a prolonged period of passive motion. I co-authored a published research paper over the design of that application for Google Daydream. I even spent the summer of 2019 as an intern at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center for their AR/VR team. While I was there, I developed a way to generate lunar terrains from LRO images in VR during runtime, and designed the user interface for their Mixed Reality Engineering Toolkit: a collaborative engineering VR tool.
Augmented Reality
As a way to promote the Scripps college of communication at Ohio University, I helped create an AR application to bring their poster advertisement to life. The poster had animations, videos, models, and links attached to it. We tried multiple platforms during development including HP Reveal, Vuforia, Snapchat, etc. More recently for my senior thesis, I got to develop an AR game in Unity meant to aid the strategic thinking and spatial awareness of individuals with cognitive disabilities.
3D Modeling
While developing for the GRID Lab, I also got to model, rig, and animate plenty of art for the experiences. The most detailed of which was a galago for a virtual reality educational experience based on South Africa 16-25 Million years ago.

UI Design
I've done a lot of the user interface for my own projects. Though most of my experience is in UI menus for virtual reality, I also have experience with basic mobile and augmented reality UI. I've also played around with other platforms like Google Daydream tooltips.
